THE ECG Heart Scan Monitor
1.
This
is a screening and monitoring device to manually record transient cardiac
events: ·
Helpful in determining cardiac symptomatic events. ·
Monitoring of heart condition for ambulatory patients. ·
Monitoring of efficacy and tolerance to medication regimen. For Patients with:
Brady- and Tachycardia
Atrial Fibrillation (AF)
Arrhythmia
Syncope
Dizziness
Palpitations
Chest / arm pain
Shortness of breath
Hypertension
Hypercholesterolemia
Obesity
Smoking The investigation itself will last only a couple of minutes and one electrode is placed on the index finger and the second electrode onto the heart whilst the patient is seated or on the treatment bed supine. The ECG will pick up abnormal heart waves if there are any. The patient will receive a print-out of the results by email or mail to be able to consult a specialist for further diagnosis or treatment if required. Prior to the ECG scan the patients blood pressure will be measure and take a short case history taken.The session will last 15 minutes.
