The London Allergy Clinic
Claudia Louch specialises in Allergy, and as such has and continuously attends professional development courses designed for General Practitioners and Health Scientist at the School of Professional Development at Imperial College London. Claudia specialises in Allergic Gastrointestinal, Respiratory and Skin Disease.
The incidence of allergic disease has grown dramatically in recent years. Allergic reaction is caused when the immune system is triggered to respond to agents such as pollen, insect stings, house dust mites, animal dander, specific foods and medicines. Allergic disease remains a challenge for numerous reasons. In patients who present with symptoms, whether on medication or not, it is very helpful to assess what particular allergen triggers a patient's allergic symptoms. Most allergic reactions to foods occur within minutes of ingestion of the food. The quantity of food required to produce an allergic reaction will vary.
I
determine the cause of my patient's allergy with the latest scientific
Blood Allergy IgA, IgE and IgG profiles, which are very specific, highly reliable and
precise. I use single allergens rather than mixes, and the
allergen categories tightly defined: food, inhalants, shellfish,
finfish, antibiotics, cereal, and insects. See all Allergy Profiles on the
Allergy Blood Test
site. I treat the
underlying cause of your allergy with a customised life-style, dietary
approach combines with individually formulated Phytomedicines and
Nutritional supplements if required.
